The Detroit Police Department is seeking information regarding fuel theft and a stolen credit card.
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information regarding fuel theft and a stolen credit card.
The incident occurred on Monday (Aug. 11) and Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, when police said the man involved fraudulently obtained over $900 worth of fuel at a gas station (Green Light Partner) located in the 18300 block of West 8 Mile Road, using a counterfeit or stolen credit card.
Police said the man is described as 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’5” with a slim build, mustache, and beard.
Officials said the man was last seen wearing a durag, lime green shirt, dark pants, and black Nike boots.
Police said the man was driving an older model Pontiac Grand Prix.
